CALPE
Calpe is the place where you are spoilt for choice. Sportsmen as well as adventurers will rejoice in the variety of this place. You can choose between all sorts of water sports or go hiking in the mountains. The types of beaches are mounting up to the multitude of activities you can practice here. There are little bays, but also spacious city beaches with fine sand and crystal-clear water.
Calpe is protected by the Penón d' Ifach. The impressing hill, which is 332 m high, is integrated into the natural park. The Penón d' Ifach has also got an astonishing panoramic view to offer.
There are 15,000 inhabitants living in Calpe, a town famous for its sailing tradition. On the famous Lonja (a fish auction), fresh fish can be bought every day. It also supplies some of the most popular restaurants with seafood.

EL CAMPELLO
El Campello is a village on a hill with a view over the 23 kilometres long, pearly white and quiet beaches to the north of Alicante, Located facing the LAlmadrava beach, near the residential development Poble español, El Campello Playa Residencial offers you life in harmony with nature, in a splendid climate, between beaches and mountains, and in surroundings filled with peace and calm.
If you want to enjoy of the beach and some peace and quiet, then El Campello is an excellent alternative as it doesnt have a lot of the usual effects of mass tourism. Nevertheless all of the usual tourist facilities are within easy reach.
The Paseo del Mar, or promenade, is almost 2 miles long and makes for a lovely evening stroll in the setting sun; during the day, take advantage of the beaches and sea. There is a huge choice of authentic Spanish restaurants and bars, all serving delicious meals or tapas. The El Campello Marina sits at one end of the bay, offering both a lively fish market and a selection of sumptuous restaurants. La Cova is a good restaurant and is situated at the end of the marina.
GUADALEST
Guadalest, the 'Eagle's Nest', is located about 25 km inland from Benidorm along the CV-70 road, just over 1 hour from Alicante. It enjoys one of the most spectacular locations of any village in Spain, set high up on a pinnacle and carved out of a mountain top in the midst of truly stunning scenery. It has a population of only 200 but is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Spain.
The castle village, which is reached through a tunnel, is a delight, with many little craft and souvenir shops, several cafés and museums. You can take a little tour around the inside of the castle and the ramparts. It only costs a few Euros and you will be rewarded with some simply breathtaking views of the surrounding valley and down to the Bay of Altea.
SAN JUAN
Playa de San Juan, the most beautiful beach in the province of Alicante. San Juan beach boasts almost seven kilometres of spacious, wide beach with fine sand.The numerous shops, restaurants and other leisure establishments offer a wide range of supplementary activities including a superb 18-hole golf course just a stone's throw away. Moreover, it features all the usual community services, since Playa de San Juan has merged with the city, becoming one of its residential areas.
VILLAJOYOSA
Villajoyosa, which literally means means 'joyful or happy town', is located 32 kilometres from Alicante and 10 km's from Benidorm. The town stretches out along side a sandy beach, bordered with palm trees and ends at its fishing port. The lower part of the town surprises the visitor with its beautiful fasades painted in vibrant colors
GUADAMAR
Is about 8 minutes drive from Rojales and is a lively, but not too tourist orientated town with lots of shops and where there is miles of fantastic beach with a blue flag for safety & cleanliness, with nets to play volley ball, and climbing frame nets to keep the children busy while you top up the tan. Lifeguards attend on the beach ever day. There is a large leisure centre with swimming pools, football courts, tennis courts and other leisure activities available just at the bottom end of the beach. There is also a marina in Guadamar where you can indulge yourself in all kinds of water sports.
ALICANTE
With its beautiful boulevard and pleasant shopping street, is one of the most well-known towns on the Costa Blanca. The coast of Alicante and the Costa Blanca owes its name to the beaches stretching for several kilometres and attracts many sun worshippers and pleasure seekers. The sun shines virtually every day in Alicante.
Alicante has about 340,000 habitants (2005 numbers) and lies directly at the Mediterranean sea.With many historical buildings around the entire city, Alicante offers countless sightseeing attractions, from cathedrals to churches and of course a wonderful harbor area. Additional to sightseeing, direct from the harbor area, a long wide sandy beach leads its way up to San Juan. Just drop your towel on the sand and enjoy a wonderful day in the sun.
